Description

The Conn 11DN combines cutting-edge design with the best elements of Geyer- and Kruspe-wrap instruments. Developed over a two-year period with input from renowned French horn players and technicians from around the country, the 11DN has a mouthpipe with both the openness of the 8D and the ease of play of found with smaller horns. The medium bell balances the warmth and depth of the 8D with the color and projection of a smaller bell instrument. New F branches enhance the ergonomics and the balance of the 11DN and combine with an adjustable finger hook to create an instrument that is comfortable to hold.

Like the rest of Conn horns, the 11DN comes with a CNC-machined mouthpiece receiver so the mouthpiece fit and mouthpipe venturi are consistent between horns. Standard mouthpipe water key and adjustable finger hook makes performance easier and more comfortable. With a corrosion-resistant nickel-silver mouthpipe and durable nickel-silver inner and outer slide tubes, the 11DN is designed for longevity and years of performance.
