Description
The intermediate HHR511 Geyer-style double horn delivers elements of Holton’s professional double horns to the advancing player, bringing the Eastlake-made leadpipe and CNC-machined mouthpiece receiver to a more affordable price point. The mouthpipe taper has a good balance between resistance and response, and the small-throat yellow brass bell and branches warms the sound for singing pianos and powerful fortes.
The HHR511 is available with both silent string (HHR511) and reliable miniball mechanical linkage (HHR511M). Additional features from Holton’s professional lineup include the mouthpipe water key, adjustable finger hook, fixed bell, and reversible change rotor. These make performance more comfortable and customizable, setting up the intermediate musician for success.
Each HHR511 is inspected and set up by Conn Selmer technicians in Elkhart, Indiana, and is held to the same exacting standards as Holton’s professional instruments.
