William Ludwig Sr. created the first chromatic bell lyra in 193. Today, Musser Bell Lyras feature satin finished aluminum bars in a choice of sizes. The Lightweight M24 bars are 1" wide and 1/4" thick. The Standard M241 bars are 1" wide and 3/8" thick. The Deluxe M244 bars are 1-1/4" wide and 3/8" thick. All come complete with mallets, plumes, strap, and cover. The M8 wood case is available separately.
