Features
The Ultimate 2 Bass anchors the ensemble with depth, clarity, and unmistakable presence. Built from 100% North American maple, these drums speak with a rich lowend and a fast, musical attack. Bearing edges are cut to 45° with a 1/8" roundover, providing an expanded tuning range to meet the demands of the modern marching activity. Brand-new designs and features push Ultimate 2 to new heights in performance. The shell construction is optimized by size: 8ply for 14"–24" models for maximum punch and projection, while sizes 26"–32" remain 6ply for balanced resonance and weight across the line. In addition, the Ultimate 2 features enhanced hardware designed to elevate performance, including new tension rods and bass drum hoop claws.
