Engineered for the high demands of the competitive field, the Ultimate 2 Marching Snare delivers the projection, articulation, reliability, and tone that top programs require. Its 8-ply, 100% North American maple shell with a 5-ply, 1.5" reinforcement ring is formed with our Radio Frequency Shell Technology for even curing, superior durability, and focused tone. Precision 45° bearing edges with a 1/8" radius round-over enhance sensitivity, expand the dynamic tuning range, and sharpen attack.
New for Ultimate 2 Snares: upgraded tension rods for smoother, more consistent tuning; an ergonomic Snare Adjustment Knob for quick, confident changes; and a snare-wire length adjustment system that makes connection and fine-tuning easier than ever. A new “Shorter” model joins the lineup for lighter weight and faster response, along with fresh finish and hardware color options and the new Ultimate 2 badge.
