Built for commanding pulse with unmistakable Ludwig warmth, the Ultimate 2 Scotch Bass combines a shallow 10" depth with large diameter shells to move air efficiently and speak immediately. The 100% North American maple shell is formed with RFST for structural integrity and consistent pitch center, while 45°-1⁄8" round over bearing edges optimize head contact for both power and sensitivity. 10 ply maple hoops and oversized tension claws provide rock solid tuning stability and rugged reliability through travel, parade routes, and on field demands. Available in 26" and 28" diameters, this is the voice that turns steps into impact.
