Description

The all-new C190SL229X is inspired by early 1970’s Elkhart designs. While the bore and body of this model are a standard .462" large bore, it features the Bach “X” bore main tuning slide, which tapers from .462" to .459". This provides a brilliant yet broad sound with a lightning-quick response.

Features

  • Drawing inspiration from early Elkhart model C trumpets (1965–1980), which set the standard for orchestral players, the C190SL229X offers similar playing characteristics but with improved intonation and a fuller sound profile.
  • Delivers a big orchestral sound with quicker response and greater ring
  • The “X” style main tuning slide provides more focus and efficiency in the response.
