Drawing inspiration from early Elkhart model C trumpets (1965–1980), the C190SL229X features the Bach “X” bore main tuning slide (.462” top leg and crook and .459” lower leg). The 25H leadpipe, wide wrap, and wide Z-brace construction, paired with a lighter Mt. Vernon-weight #229 bell, deliver a broad sound with more ring and lightning-fast response.

Drawing inspiration from the unique New York-era Bach C trumpets (Bronx, NY, 1928–1953), the C190SL229F is constructed with a redesigned 25C leadpipe, narrow wrap, narrow Z-brace, and standard-weight #229 bells with French beads, delivering a focused, colorful sound.

Developed with Bach Artist and international soloist Tine Thing Helseth. The redesigned 25C leadpipe, narrow wrap, narrow Z-brace construction, and a lighter Mt. Vernon-weight #238 bell deliver a warm, singing sound and quick response. The C190SL238VF has a Vindabona bore main tuning slide (.459" top leg and crook and .462" bottom leg). Ideal for chamber music and solo performances.
