Like it’s artist level French made counterparts, the SCL511 features a smaller bore design that boasts impeccable intonation and a wonderfully centered tonal quality. The performer will enjoy the characteristic “ping” that can only be found in Selmer clarinets making this the ideal clarinet wind band, orchestra and solo playing.
The key work of the Selmer SCL511 B-flat clarinet has been completely revamped from previous iterations of this instrument and now features elegantly professional styling that looks as good as it feels under the hands. The SCL511 features enlarged touch pieces that are set closer to the body for easier reach, but they are nested close together and near the body to encourage fluid movement and strong hand position.
Finally, the Selmer SCL511 clarinet comes with a genuine Selmer accessories package, a hard rubber, Selmer Fusion mouthpiece and a stylish messenger case. Everything the advancing clarinetist needs to ensure success now and in the future.
